Service Description

The day will start by meeting your guide at our office. Before getting into the water your guide will inform you on key information about the route as well as safety tips. *Tour route is subject to change dependent on weather conditions National Park Ocean Tour: This tour starts by paddling across the Cahuita National Park, cruising over the coral reefs which are home to green sea turtles, sting rays, and many tropical fish. After exploring the water for an hour there will be a break on the beach where you will be provided fresh fruit. This is a perfect time to cool off with a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water. Continue onward to explore a small estuary with chances of spotting herons, king fishers, and toucans. Some of Costa Rica's most popular birds. Finish the tour by paddling back to the entrance of the national park, where you can change as well as enjoy many restaurants close by. Cahuita Experience River Tour: Paddle and explore the flora and fauna for the first hour with the possibility of finding many animals including; sloths, monkeys, turtles, and alligators. There will be a short break on the sand bank where you will be provided with fresh fruit. During this time your guide will review the wildlife you spotted on the way in. After the break you will continue on through the mangroves for another 45 minutes. Once you have returned to the starting point there will be transportation back into town if needed.
